M J Tech Limited have taken on the race prep and running of the Mike Newton MG Lola EX257 P2 car for this seasons Masters Endurance Legends series.
Following a cold, damp shakedown day at Donington Park Circuit earlier in April the team headed to Imola for the first race weekend.
The Imola circuit on Friday April 20th saw a few electronic problems with shift lights and non functioning alarms.
Once sorted, the car proved to be fast and reliable putting in the 5th fastest time in practice overall, fastest in class.
Qualifying confirmed great performance with a P1 class grid position.
Saturday’s Race 1 concluded with a strong P1 class finish / P6 overall.
On Sunday in Race 2 the result was again 1st in class, P6 overall.
